Citizens Advice Plymouth plays a vital role in our local community providing free, confidential, independent and impartial advice to clients on issues such as debt, benefits, housing and employment. Our trustees ensure that the organisation is well managed and that resources are utilised effectively and appropriately.

We’re looking to strengthen our board with two new trustees, who can use their professional and lived experiences, skills and talents to contribute to our on-going success.

We are specifically seeking individuals who offer experience in one or more of the following areas:

– Chair designate to take over from the current Chair, once inducted and has a full understanding of the organisation
– Finance and accounting (not necessarily within a charitable setting, but this would be beneficial)
– Leadership experience within a charitable organisation
– Previous experience as a Trustee or governor
– Local involvement in the city of Plymouth

As a trustee, you’ll provide strategic oversight, challenge, and support to a committed leadership team working to deliver high-quality advice and advocacy services.
