Administrator – BULB Energy Project


Salary Scale:
£16,916.54 to £17,387.57

Hours:
1 x full-time position working 37 hours per week between 9.00am to 5pm Monday to Thursday and 9.00am to 4.30pm on a Friday.

Contract:
Permanent contract (subject to funding)

Role Context:
This post is to support the startup of a new partnership with Bulb Energy. This exciting relationship will join the award-winning Utilities Department at Citizens Advice Plymouth.

The project has been set up under the Warm Home Discount Industry Obligation and will be supporting Bulb members to review their household budget and to also maximise their income ensuring that they are in a sustainable position and able to pay future energy bills.

Role Purpose:
You will be the first point of contact for Bulb members making sure that we capture all the information that is needed to support the Advisers and Project Lead. You will manage all system data and will be responsible for collecting evidence for the Bulb Energy Fund. You will need to be digitally engaged and have a great eye for detail ensuring that you support the team to hit the debt write off target of £250,000 between April 2020 and March 2021.

Duties will include:
Being a welcoming and efficient point of contact for agencies and customers.
Assessing Bulb Energy Fund application forms, checking quality of information/documents provided, making decisions and keeping up to date records.
Assess applications for assistance using the appropriate toolkit and make appropriate referrals where applicable 
Liaising with clients and agencies by email and telephone
Maintaining accurate case records for audit purposes, information retrieval, statistical monitoring and report preparation.
Updating and maintaining accurate statistical information for the project to ensure that targets are being achieved.
