Working between Monday – Thursday 9:00 – 17:00 and Friday 9:00 to 16:30
About the role:
We are recruiting Customer Service Advisers to join our energy team, part of the award winning Utilities department at Citizens Advice Plymouth.
You will be supporting the supplier’s customers to access debt advice, income maximisation and energy efficiency advice. Providing clients with debt & energy appointments over the phone, helping them to find solutions to their issues.
You will be solution focused and have transferable skills that mean that we can train you to advise clients that are struggling to maintain payments to their energy provider and with any issues they present with.
You will need to be confident with using a range of different software to contact clients and record detailed client notes evidencing the advice you provided.
You’ll enjoy working in a supportive team of other advisers and administrators to achieve the performance targets and help as many clients as we can.
You will be comfortable speaking on the phone, have good telephone skills, and enjoy speaking to people of all backgrounds.

Full training will be provided. Candidates must be able to attend our full-time training course (37 hours a week) at our office at Cobourg House, Plymouth, for the first full 6 weeks of employment.
