Data Officer


Salary scale:
£23,150.10 to £28,008.98 per annum

Hours:
Full-time (37 hours per week)
Working between Monday to Thursday 9:00 – 17:00, and Friday 9:00 – 16:30.

About the role:
Working with Research, Campaigns and Communications team, you will be supporting our operational and campaigns departments as part of our continued growth at Citizens Advice Plymouth.

Citizens Advice Plymouth supports people in resolving their problems and finding a way forward. We also campaign on improving policies that affect their lives. Data plays a vital part in helping us to reach that aim, by helping us better know our clients and understand causes of their issues.

In this newly created role, you will provide the information and data management requirements alongside developing the coordinated support functions for our service. This will involve carrying out data analysis, accurate collation, and reporting from different data systems – including complex analytical written reports that draw out key trends to facilitate service and campaigns development and focus on decision making.

You will be responsible for monitoring, collating and analyzing of project performance data, ensuring it is accurate, timely and adequately meets the reporting requirements of the Project Management team, Funders and Stakeholders.

 As a data officer, you will be working within Citizens Advice Plymouth aims and principles and Ofgem’s Warm Home Discount industry initiative. 

You will build strong relationships across departments to ensure the delivery of our frontline services are “best in class”.

To succeed in the role, you’ll need to be motivated, with lots of initiative, have an exceptional eye for detail, excellent data analysis skills and a flair for setting up and manipulating spreadsheets and producing complex and coherent reports. You’ll also need to be able to work as a part of a team, as well as unsupervised, to provide a seamless service to a range of internal stakeholders.

Workbase:
Hybrid Model – Home working and Office Working at Cobourg House, Mayflower Street, Plymouth.  Your training period will be office based.
