Title: Internal and External Trainer

Starting Salary: £19,581.22

Salary Scale: £19,581.22 – £22,287.55

Hours: 37 Hours per week (job share considered)

Contract: Fixed term to 31st March 2020 (subject to continued funding)

Benefits:
25 days annual leave (pro rata), bank holidays (pro rata) and an additional 2.5 days to be taken between Christmas and the New Year (pro rata)

3% auto enrolment contributions from both employee and employer in to auto enrolment pension scheme (eligibility required)

Job Description

Context:
As part of the expanding and ever growing Citizens Advice Plymouth service the demand for training and development has never been higher. Training is at the heart of everything we do as it ensures that we are providing our clients with a high quality service. Training and development requests come from across the organisation, from administration or face to face and telephone client contact to management and specialist workers. Alongside this we are going to be utilising the knowledge, skills and experience we have internally to develop an external training offer to be accessed by the community and stakeholders.

Role Purpose:
You will be at the forefront of training and development activities across the organisation through the delivery of internal training sessions and workshops, working closely with the Training and Development Officer to ensure that all training is interactive, engaging and inclusive. You will need to have an enthusiastic approach to learning, in particular, in the lifelong learning sector.

The role will be assisting the Training and Development Officer to develop and maintain the office training plan and ensure that all training activities are in line with organisational and business needs. You will drive quality and consistency through the delivery of training, coaching and mentoring.
