Title: Pension Wise Guidance Specialist
Salary: £24,058.21 per annum (rising to £25,385.53 following passing of accreditation training, exam and successful completion of 3 month probation).
Hours: 37 hours per week (part-time / job share / flexible working considered)
Contract: Fixed Term to end March 2021
Benefits: 3% contributions to employer’s pension scheme. 25 days annual leave (pro rata), bank holidays (pro rata) and an additional 2.5 days to be taken between Christmas and the New Year (pro rata), healthcare plan (eligibility required), cycle to work scheme (eligibility required).
Responsible to: Pension Wise Team Leader
Work Base: Negotiable across North Cornwall, North Devon and Taunton

Overall purpose of the role: To deliver a specialist quality service to customers eligible for the pensions guidance service who have complex pension scenarios by supplying accurate, personalised, relevant information and guidance on their pensions options and choices.

Pension Wise is a national service offering guidance to people on their pension options. An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Pension Wise guidance specialist. You must have a solid foundation in pension law and practice, gained in a pensions technical role. You will possess excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage sensitively with customers from diverse walks of life.
