Title: Trainee Debt and Energy Adviser – EDF Energy Project

Starting Salary: £19,581.22 (pro rata)

Salary Scale: £19,581.22 – £22,287.55 (pro rata)

Hours: 18.5 hours per week – days and hours negotiable.

Contract: Fixed term contract to 31st March 2019 (subject to funding likely to be extended).

Benefits: 3% auto enrolment contributions from both employee and employer in to auto enrolment pension scheme. 25 days annual leave (pro rata), bank holidays (pro rata) and an additional 2.5 days to be taken between Christmas and the New Year (pro rata), Healthcare Plan (eligibility required), Cycle to Work Scheme (eligibility required), Directly Contracted Childcare Scheme (eligibility required).

Work Base: Cobourg House, Mayflower Street, Plymouth

Citizens Advice Plymouth has funding to provide energy efficiency advice, energy debt advice and income maximisation advice to customers of EDF Energy
The employer for this post is Citizens Advice Plymouth and the manager for this post is the EDF Energy Team Leader.

Role purpose:

To provide assistance to EDF Energy customers who are experiencing difficulty paying their energy bills. This will involve telephone advice and completing assessments for the EDF Energy fund. You will also responsibility for the delivery of both individual and team targets and outcomes.
