Water Debt Gateway Referral Form

This application form refers your client to the Water Debt Gateway team at Citizens Advice Plymouth.

The team take a long-term view in assisting clients to get the most beneficial tariff for their household, and then exploring their eligibility for different forms of water debt assistance – including a ‘FreshStart Grant’ to clear their arrears in full.

Our callback waiting times can range between 2 and 4 weeks in busier periods. While your client waits to hear we recommend that they do their best to maintain any existing payment arrangement they have with South West Water or their debt collectors until we are able to contact them to advise further.

Please note we cannot accept referrals for anyone wishing to dispute their debt. Please also note making a referral to our service does not halt any court or recovery action already in progress.
