HSF for cancer patients

Household Support Fund


HSF is a UK government scheme providing short-term, non-emergency financial help for vulnerable households with essentials like food, energy, white goods and school costs, managed by local councils until March 2026.

Please note that this is a limited, non-emergency fund with applications processed on a first come, first served basis.

Application Criteria

 
Mustard Tree patients must:

  • have a health condition; and
  • provide evidence of this health condition (like an SR1 form) for their HSF application

Other  cancer patients must:

  • be in receipt of PIP, DLA or Limited Capability for Work; or
  • Pension Aged; or
  • have dependents under 18 years
