Macmillan Project
About
We are working in partnership with Macmillan Cancer Support to provide support to people with a cancer diagnosis. The Macmillan Project offers free, confidential advice to help people deal with the financial impact a diagnosis can bring, such as a reduction in income due to being unable to work, or additional costs like travel to hospital for appointments.
How we work
Our adviser can help you to make sure you are claiming all the benefits you are entitled to and provide money and debt advice to help you manage your finances. This might include support to complete applications for benefits such as Personal Independence Payment (PIP), or advising you about other projects that can offer targeted support for cancer patients. They can also help you with other issues you may be experiencing, such as housing or employment problems.
