The two-child limit policy has been in the news a lot recently.
It means that parents who already have two children won’t receive Child Tax Credit or Universal Credit support for any further children born after April 2017. There are a few exceptions where you can get money for more children – such as if you have multiple births like twins.
We’ve received Get Involved Awards funding from the University of Plymouth to research how the policy is affecting families in Plymouth and the surrounding areas, in partnership with University of Plymouth School of Society and Culture and the Plymouth Institute of Health and Care Research.
If you have more than two children but only receive money for two of them from your benefits, you might have been impacted by the policy – and we’d like to hear from you!
