Household Support Fund

Help with Energy, Food and Essentials

Citizens Advice Plymouth is working in partnership with Plymouth City Council to provide financial and practical support to residents who are most in need.

As part of this service, residents can access:

  • Financial assistance (vouchers for energy, food, clothing, white goods, and other essential household items)
  • Personalised advice on managing money, benefits, debts, and reducing household bills

Important Information

Due to high demand, we may not be able to offer immediate appointments when you contact us. All requests will be dealt with as quickly as possible, but there may be waiting times depending on capacity.

Please note that if you attend a drop-in session and there is no availability on the day, we will add your details to our referral list and contact you as soon as possible to arrange a future appointment.

  • Direct contact: Some eligible residents may be contacted directly by post and invited to book an appointment for advice and support.
